Q.  Will I be able to eliminate stress from my life if I become a member of this site?

A.  No, that is not possible, and if you are being told (or sold) about an idea where you can start to live a life devoid of any stress, you may want to reconsider the credibility of that source. Everybody has stress in their life and will continue to have stress in their lives as long as they are alive. However how we deal with stress is what makes each one of us different. Some people succumb to periods of panic, depression and anxiety, while some others, who have been conditioned on stress management, have the ability to move on with life after making any necessary course corrections in life. So to answer this question, "No" you cannot eliminate stress, but what you can do is eliminate the ill effects of stress from your life and transcend over the mundane.

Q.  What is the difference between stress and emotions?

A.  At times people confuse between stress and emotions. They are quite different, though related. If, for example, you have suffered a personal loss of a loved one, you will become emotional - that is human nature and we're blessed with it. It is perfectly ok to feel the sudden vacuum in your life. But often, these emotions can turn into stress, if you continue to dwell on the loss. The stress can in turn make you slip into depression and you can develop a disorder. The trick is to indulge yourself in the waves of emotion, but do not allow those emotions to turn themselves into stress.

Q.  The StressRiskProfiler Tool-Lite in your website graded my stress risk profile as HIGH. Should I be concerned?

A.   The purpose of the Lite version of the tool is not to give you a formal diagnosis, but to give you a general idea about your stress risk profile. If you have been graded as "HIGH", there are fair chances are that you may be in need of some help. Of course this is assuming that you took your time to think carefully about the question in that tool and answer them correctly. The idea is to increase your awareness about yourself through very focused and pertinent questions. In order to be certain about your risk profile, you will need to go through a more detailed analysis and may even need to consult a qualified mental healthcare professional. So treat the results of the tool as an Early Warning System, rather than an actual realistic concern. But if you have been graded "HIGH", it is recommended that you take appropriate action as soon as possible to complete a more thorough evaluation of your profile. If you have not yet become a member of this website, it is highly recommended that you become one and obtain access to the plethora of valuable information available to our members for stress and anxiety reduction.

Q.  The StressRiskProfiler Tool-Lite  in your website graded my stress risk profile as LOW. Am I doing well enough?

A.  Fantastic! It looks like you have a good handle on things - of course assuming that you answered the questions correctly. If you have been graded as "LOW" you are managing stress well - at least at first glance. In order to be certain about your situation, it is recommended that first of all, you should continue do to whatever you are doing to manage stress in your life - its definitely working out for you. Secondly, it is recommended that you perform a more through evaluation just to be sure about your condition. The Lite version does not ask all the questions to determine your profile very accurately - it's more rough cut, but gives you a good outlook on your stress risk profile. So you may want to be certain that you are on the right path and take more corrective action as necessary.  Remember, prevention is always better than cure. You are among the very few living today, who has been able to discover the secret about stress management. Spread the word around about yourself and help others overcome their stress related problems. Better still, sign up as a member (if you have not already done so) of this website and join forces with us to defeat depression and anxiety in people's lives.

Q.  Where can I get access to the full version of the StressRiskProfiler Tool? How different is it from the Lite version?

A.  As of April 1st 2008, this tool is being developed and we are conducting extensive research on how to make the tool more accurate than what it is right now. It will have many more questions to properly understand the nature of an individual's stress profile and be able to more accurately calculate the grade. Moreover the tool is being augmented with some additional intelligence to determine the importance of the answer to one question over another and consider that degree of importance in the determination of the true grade. In addition to this more accurate grading technology, the full version of the StressRiskProfiler Tool will also be able to recommend appropriate remedies that you can consider Remember that the output from the Lite or the Full version of the tool is just a guideline and helps to increase your awareness - it is not medical advice. You can print out the results and use them as reference when you consult with a qualified mental healthcare professional about your particular situation. The full version is expected to be released to our members only in the May-June 2008 timeframe. This is one aspect of our offerings that we don't want to be misleading or not working correctly, so we don't want to rush into releasing it and compromising the effectiveness of the tool.
